Partnership for Agricultural Research, Education and Development

Networks

For a region, as diverse as West Africa, delivering on development interventions could prove to be very daunting. With the right networks and associations, considerable progress can be made.

Under the delivery of the West Africa Seed Program, important and consequential networks were developed. They bring together seed actors in the private and public sectors, civil society as well as international technology and donor partners.

To finish the job, CORAF will further build strategic partnerships with agri-input associations, the specialized research centers of the Consultative Group for International Agricultural Research, new initiatives such as the Technology for the Transformation of Africa (TAAT), CORAF/ECOWAS centers of excellence, NGOs, and agricultural extension services. Quality control and certification agencies, international and national seed companies and entrepreneurs, fertilizer companies, farmer groups and associations, Universities, regional economic communities, technical and financial partners will constitute CORAF core group of partners.
